The Whatcom County Charter Review Commission is a unique political event that happens every 10 years. Each County District votes for and elects 5 citizens to sit on the review commission. They will meet occasionally in 2015 and propose ballot measures to appear on next year's general election ballot.
Please share our list of endorsed candidates for Charter Review.
District One (vote for all 5)

Opponents fueled by more coal money
As the Bellingham Herald reported yesterday, coal terminal proponents are funneling $10,000 into a PAC to support conservatives running for Charter Review. Not happy with last year's County Council elections, they now want to change the rules to favor Republicans in Council races.
